This is a long shot, but here goes:

After the American Revolution some Loyalists went to the West Indies. I don't know much about it. You can do some research at The On-Line Institute for Advanced Loyalist Studies website. www.royalprovincial.com

Charles Inglis was the Rector of Trinity Church in New York City and the chaplin for a DeLancey regiment. He went to Nova Scotia after the war and I think a daughter of his married into the Wetmore family in New Brunswick.

I don't know anything else about the Inglis family.
