Yes, you are a part of my wife's INGLIS(H) family. The family camem from Cannon County, TN, to Hopkins COunty, KY.Then my wife's branch headed to Marshall County, KY. However, her great grandmother separated from her great grandfather and went back to Dawson Springs, KY, to live in her latter years.I'd love to have you snail-mail address to send you what I have on the family.I only answer e-mail about once a month from the public library at the county seat.If will likely be that long before I can reply to any e-mail you send in response to this one.
My wife's great grandfather was Benjamin Franklin INGLIS, a Confederate soldier of Tennessee. It seems that further back the surname is likely spelled ENGLISH though. My wife was hoping that INGLIS was correct as this is the Scottish clan spelling.
