Thanks for your message. This all certainly is very interesting. I have no idea if there was a connection, but strongly suspect that there was one. Same surnames (Ingles and Haddow) in the same area at the same time......

It may have been possible that my James Ingles that was born in 1818, was a brother to your William. Since William married in 1834, he may have been born ca. 1814. Realize we would need much more evidence though. If this were the case, since my James was the son of a John Ingles and Ann Haddow, this might also mean that your William had married a
relative of his. As you know this was not unusual during this time period.

Wish I had more information. Please stay in touch, we just might possibly be able to work thru this.
