Hi Oliver,

I have a Rev George Brown Inglis, born in 1854 in Edzell, Scotland, who I know emigrated to Ashburton NZ. He married Melissa /Melina Philson Jones in 1883 and had the following 2 children in Otago:
Urquhart Brand Inglis b 8 Jun 1884
George Frost Inglis b 7 Aug 1886.

Both sons married: Urquhart married Margaret Graham in 1910 in Wailu, and George married Nellie Eldridge in 1924 in Dunedin.

He must have travelled to NZ after 1874 as he was still at Edinburgh then, so maybe these dates don't match up. Good luck.

Roz
