I am interested in the mining activities of C.M. Inlis. He was involved in setting up the Quedong Copper Mining Company in 1865. As one of the promoters he was paid 2000 pounds (quite a sum back then), The Company attempted to mine copper ores at Quidong, just east of Bombala in southern NSW but failed in about 1866. Jacob Brache was also involved in this venture.
