I am also looking for a John Inkpen who was supposed to have been deported or escaped from England in 1756 and made his way with his two brothers in three sailing vessels to Shaloway on Burin Island in Newfoundland ,here the Family grew ,and today is spread over North America.
Had he stayed in England he would have been hanged as a sea pirate.
