INKPENS OF BATTERSEA

At the time of the 1881 census William Inkpen snr was Living at 31 Benfield St along with his wife Mary and two of their children Harriet aged 17 and Edward aged 9. His son William Inkpen was living at Granfield St in 1881, Granfield Rd in 1891 and Surrey Lane in 1901. His wife was named Annie nee Crook and they had the following children :- Harriet (1873) William George (1874) Alice (1878) John Francis (1881) Henry James (1884) Elizabeth (1886) Ada(my grandmother) (c.1888) Caroline Matilda (1890)lived in Fabian Rd. Lilian (c.1894). Annie's parents Francis & Annie also lived in Granfield St at the time of the 1881 census 2 doors down.
