In May 1993 I visited a Jack Inkpen Jr. in Edmonton. He was 67 years old at the time. His father, Jack senior, had died in recent years. Jack Jr.'s wife was named Jolan.
They lived near 82nd Ave and 104th St. Jack Sr. came to Edmonton as a boy, or young man, with his mother and stepfather Clarence Inkpen, from the Burin Peninsula of Newfoundland. The mother was married to a Ernest (?) Inkpen, but, when he died early she had boys to bring up so remarried to another Inkpen, Clarence from a differednt Inkpen family on the Burin Peninsula. The new husband took them to Edmonton to homestead. Hope this helps.
