Hi Nancy
I was looking for Inkpen;s and I came across some info for you -
Cecil Frederick Inkpen was married to Nesta P Inkpen and lived in Marchbank, Kings County, New Brunswick

They had a son named Harold Clifford (Sappy) Inkpen who died on March 18, 1945 in WW2 at the age of 24 - his Military Service # is G/45452 He was 24 years of age when he died - He worked for a Military unit : Royal Canadian Engineers in the Army force - His division was : 11 Field Coy - Harold is buried at Groesbeek Canadian Waer Cemetary in the Netherlands - which is located 10 kn south east of the town Nijmegan and close to the Greman frontier. The cemetary is 3 km north of the village and 1500 meters east of the main road to Nijmegen.
I got this info on Vetrans Affairs Canada website
I have not come across anything on his parents but I will keep my eye out for more info - Hope this was helpful
