Neslon,
Many, many thanks for that information, Nelson. It has filled in some big gaps, and made some people very happy.Just to try to complete the circle, do you have any information on the following:
---
Ted Arlington Inkpen - born July 4, 1924 - born in Halifax or Burin Nfld. - He had a brother Lee Cornelius Inkpen born May 16, 1938 and another brother Foster Ross Inkpen - born Dec, 1918. He also had one sister who is Claudia Beatrice Belle Inkpen - born Sept 3, 1920. One sister has passed on Margaret Blanche Inkpen - who was born on Sept 3, 1913.She was married to Granville Clifford Snair. She died in Halifax in Feb 23, 2001.
My Grandfather was John Trowbridge Inkpen and great Grandfather was Thomas Inkpen - born Jan 4 1857.
If anyone knows where I can locate my family - I would really appreciate it. I have been searching for years!!!
---
This is a reuqest from Ivy INKPEN, who we are convinced is linked to the Robert INKPEN b 1889 who you have helped to locate - one of his daughters was also named Ivy.Just to complete the story of Robert, during WWI, he joined the Army in Edmonton, Alberta, January 3, 1916.He was
stationed in England.Robert met and married Jessie Law in Manchester in 1919.After the war they moved to Edmonton, Alberta where his family lived. He worked for CN Railroad. He died in Edmonton in 1970. Jessie and Robert's marriage broke-up in 1930 and Jessie and the
children moved to Vancouver.
Best regards,
Rhona
