Help !! - Origin of INKPEN name
Posted by: Ivy Inkpen (ID *****6063) Date: February 11, 2007 at 20:15:10

Hi everyone
I saw a posting a while back of the name origin of Inkpen -someone posted it either here or on - but it gave the name Inkpen as a different spelling (Ingpen??) and a brief description of the name - as being a "Hill" top in England and a battlefield of some sort.
I hope someone can direct me back to this posting as I have just spent hours searching for it again ! I can't find it - but I think it was posted by Nannette - but I am not sure.
I should have printed it - but I was out of printer ink.
Any help would be appreciated !! Thanks so much!
Ivy Inkpen
