I'm not sure that we are actually working on the same Inlow family to be honest. It may just be a coincidence in names.
Here is my line,
Phillip Inlow, b. 1806 SC/NC ?
married Elizabeth Miller, b. 1809, TN
children:
Sylvester Inlow, b. 1837, TNm. Julia Susan Paden
William Inlow, b. 1839, OKm. ?
John Inlow, b. 1840, OK m. ?
Amanda Inlow, b. 1841, OK
Sylvester Inlow and Julia Susannah Paden had the following children:
Thomas Jefferson Inlow
William Henry Inlow
Margaret Caroline Inlow
Laura Jennie Inlow
I don't have any info. on Phillip Inlow parents or siblings.Have not found them yet.
For Elizabeth Miller I have some.
(Parents Andrew & Catherine Miller)
Andrew Miller, JR
Avery Vann Miller
Elizabeth Miller (m. Phillip Inlow)
Alfred Miller
Isabelle Miller
Elmira Miller (m. Ben F. Paden)
Lucinda Miller
Elizabeth also had several half-siblings from her mothers 3 or 4 marriages.
Her mother Catherine, was Cherokee on her mother's side. Her mother was Lydia Halfbreed.
Elizabeth and Phillip were in TN in 1838 and were among the Cherokee families forced onto the "trail of tears" to Indian Territory, OK during the Removal Act.
Any Inlow's in this line would be part Cherokee. There were two other Inlows living on adjoining land in TN in the mid-1830's who were probably his brothers but have found no records yet. They were Lewis Inlow and John Burton Inlow.
I do not know about Lewis Inlow's family but John Burton Inlow's descendants had the same names as Phillip's descandants. If you will read through the old messages there is quite a bit on John Burton Inlow and his various descendants. You will notice some names they have in common with mine, such as John, William, Phillip, Thomas, Henry, Amanda, etc.
All my info. on Phillip is posted on previous messages also so if you do a search on Phillip and then one on Burton or John, you will get most of the ones regarding these three possible brothers.
