The charles Ironmonger who was killed in the Hillcrest mine disaster, in 1914, is not the Ironmonger who immagrated from England to Canada. The person you are looking for is Charles Eli Ironmonger. He was Charles Ironmonger's father. He was born in 1860 in Staffordshire, England. He was married to Mary Allen, who died young. Charles Eli then married Sarah Anne lawrence. I know this because Charles Eli Ironmonger is my great, great grandfather. I hope this helps your search.
