This is very exciting. Yes, Christina is my great grandmother. She did have red hair and I have heard that she "sang on the English stage", My grandmother, her daughter and also named Christine, had red hair. Reading your family history on another site about the 2 names for your grandfather, I noticed that he was a drummer in the Cameron Highlanders. Our family story was that Robert Ironside was a drummer in the Highlanders! Maybe my grandmother was confused between the two men. Perhaps the two men served together and Robert I. met Christina through her brother. R.I. served with the 79th Cameron Highlanders from 1882 to 1894. Would your Mother know how and when Christina died or anything about my grandmother's brother? Thanks again for all this information
