I am not sure who the Milton and Robert Isbell are who appear in the 1933 yearbook for Polytechnic High School in Fort Worth, but I.I. Isbell was my great-uncle and Ruth Isbell was one of his daughters.Ira Irving Isbell, better known as "Pat" Isbell, was a son of George Pendleton Isbell and Nannie Furman Hill.George Pendleton Isbell was the youngest of the fifteen children of Pendleton Isbell and Susana Cleveland.Pendleton Isbell was the eldest son of Levingston Isbell and Mary Rowan. And Levingston Isbell was a son of Pendleton Isbell born 1757 in Virginia who served in the Commander-in-Chief's Guard during the Revolutionary War and was later a captain in the Wilkes County, NC militia serving under the command of Colonel Benjamin Cleveland at the Battle of King's Mountain. It's interesting that you found Uncle Pat's and Ruth's pictures in the yearbook - I haven't seen these - and it's good of you to share the information. As you can see, this family is well documented.
