My great-grandfather's name was James Isbister and he married Flora Helena Leibeig. He settled in Buffalo, NY and they had 4 children: Jack, Earl, Earnest and Helen.
Helen was my grandmother. I was told he came from Orkney Islands. I am planning a trip to that area of the world and would like to get some more background information. Could anyone please help me in this area. I do know I still have some relatives in the Buffalo area. Thank you.
