Hello,

I am wondering if the Magnus Isbister you referred to had sons--named Thomas and John A. and perhaps Magnus Jr.? A Thomas, John, and Magnus emigrated to Canada (Rupert's land)in the early 1800s. Thomas was born about 1792 and John about 1794. Both worked for the HBC and I am wondering if they may have been full or half-brothers? Both a Thomas and John are listed as Magnus Isbister's sons and were Christened around 1807. Thanks if anyone has further information.M. Surbey
