Dear Rod,

J A Isbister was my great great great grandfather. Do you know how/if he was related to Thomas Isbister and his son, the famous A K Isbister of Manitoba? I am wondering if Thomas and John A might have been brothers or half-brothers--they were both born in Harray in the 1790s. I am also wondering if they were related to Magnus Isbister who came to Selkirk settlement with the first settlers when he was only about 20 yrs old? I am wondering if they all may have been brothers or cousins and who are their parents?

Any further info you have would be great! Michele
