Elizabeth Isler (b. 1764 in Jones Co., NC), daughter of William and Hester Williams Isler, married John Simmons (1763-1802), son of Emanuel and Barbara Starbuckle Simmons, on 10 November 1785 in Craven Co., NC, and with him had five children: Sarah, Obed[ience?] Isler, Hester, Amos Williams, and John Pugh.
The second wife of my ancestor Ricketson Lipsey (1764 NC-1855 Union Dist., SC) was an Elizabeth LNU, the widow of a John Simmons, of Jones Co., NC. Ricketson, with Elizabeth and/or with his first wife, Anne Pope, had five children: Miriam, Huldah, Ricketson Jr., Arthur, and Atalanta.
Does anyone know what happened to Elizabeth Isler Simmons after John Simmons died in 1802?
