He married Emily. Emily was born GA 1838. Family was living 20 June 1860 Tuscaloosa Co., Fosters Beat shown on 1860 census pg 609 parcel 114., occupation shown as carpenter. JAN Term 1876?, pg 324 Ordinary Court Min. Book B ," Julia F. Isler minor child of Wm. Isler shows court she is over 14 yrs of age and selected friend Alfred I. Monroe as Clerk of Superior Ct. of said county ( Morgan, Calhoun Co., GA.) and prays the court's sanction of her choice." Signed by Julia F. Isler . JAN 1876, pg 328 , guardian appointed for Julia and Vice? Isler children of Wm. Isler. Pages 361,394, 395, 403, 432, 436 are guardian returns July Term Bk 1876 Court appointed Alfred Monroe the Guardian of Julia Isler. NOV term guardian returns 6 AUG 1877, A. I. Isler of age except Willie". Since William was older than Julia, she may have married in the meantime. Page 458 Jan Term 1879 Guardian Alfred I. Monroe "Best interest to ---? undivided 1/4 interest of 125 acres of lot # 288 in 3rd district of Said Co. (Calhoun Co. GA) Page 494 Aug term 1879 "Guardian requested sale of property of minor children of Wm. Isler, 3 of age, Willie still in guardianship, interest of Willie portion not sufficient to carry expenses of making annual returns asks to be relieed of making returns. Released from returns in open court. B.C. Mitchell" note: since there were at least 5 and possibly 6 children counting Vice?, one or more of these children was deceased by 1879 when the annual returns ended and there was an undivided interest of 1/4 in the land.

William ISLER and Emily had the following children:
