Allen Isner - born about 1827 in Randolph County, a son of Thomas Jr. and Rachel Phillips Isner, married January 14, 1857 to Mariah Daniels - born August 4, 1838 in Randolph County, a daughter of Jonathan and Catherine Wees Daniels.
Allen Isner was among a group of Randolph County citizens taken hostage by Federal Soldiers in 1863 and sent to Fort Deleware. He died at Fort Deleware August 22, 1863 and was buried at Finns Point National Cemetery in Salem County, New Jersey.
Allen and Mariah had two children:
Columbia Isner - born January 1858 in Randolph County; married Winfield S. Kelley. Columbia died in 1943; buried in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery near Elkins, WV.
James A. Isner - born 1863 in Randolph County. He was living with John and Mariah Hacker in Clay County Kansas in 1895; James A. Isner is not listed in the 1900 census.
After Allen's death Mariah Isner married John T. Hacker on March 13, 1873 in Randolph County. John and Mariah were living in Jewell County Kansas in 1880. They had three children: John D. Hacker, Jonathan Hacker and Albert R. Hacker. James A. Isner was also living with John and Mariah in 1880.
Mariah died May 18, 1913 in Randolph County; buried in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery near Elkins, WV
