Starting Sept. 30, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

Hi Sharlie, this is Janice. You are descended from Hugh thru his son George, and thru George's son George (we call him George Jr, to differentiate him from his father). George Jr. had a son named Pinkney Alston Ivester, who is the father of your Jacob Pinckney Ivester. The Isbister tomb in Orkney is named for the present-day landowner named Isbister on whose property the tomb was found. The site is also called the Tomb of the Eagles.
