Wow! Thanks for this. R J Ivie (Ruben Jackson) was my great-great grandfather. We knew from a letter that one of his decendants has that his father's name was John, and I knew he had a brother, either J R or J F, but not much else about his siblings. I had thought that it was J F, standing for John Franklin possibly. We also know from the same letter that John Ivie's father was Franklin Ivie. The letter says that John did not have a middle name.
Am so glad to get this.
