I have just submitted my personal order for DNA testing from FamilyTreeDNA at http://www.ftdna.com/. I have also requested information about starting a Surname Project and will provide more information later.
I have volunteered to maintain an email distribution list for initial organizational purposes. Send me an email at jerry@lakeathens.com and I will add your name to the distribution list. The list name is DNA@Ivey-Ivie-Ivy.org or DNA@Ivey-Ivie-Ivy.net (I have listed the different spellings in alphabetical order.) This is a closed list, so you have to be a member to mail to it.
Please send me your first and last name as well as the email address so I can avoid confusing different individuals with similar email addresses.
