Hi Beth,

Noticed your "Ivie" name and also "Williams" & "Allen" names. Related to IVIE and also name used that you might look to for help with your "Williams" inquiry. Was "William Louis William/s"

Frank James used this name of William Louis William/s. Some of the family lived in & still do in Navarro Co., Erathe Co., & Greyson Co., TX.

The surname of YORK was originally a black servant for some of the ancestors. This York servant settled in NY. Don't remember if this servant was with the family on the Lewis & Clark Expedition or if earlier. Will have to check records again to find exact time period.
