Thank you. I recently found out a little bit more info. My Grandfather was Walter Alan (not sure on the middle name)Ivie and was married to Reel Ivie. He and his brother came to the Sherman/Dennison Texas area from Kentucky after some sort of altercation in Kentucky in the late 1800's or early 1900's. Walter moved up to the Winnywood OK area. they had four children. Don Ivie was my father. There was also Truman and Hellen Louis and another brother Ralph. All those children except my dad Don Ivie moved to Texas. Helen was the only one I ever knew, as I can recall.
My brother, Richard Don Ivie still lives in the Wynniwood area but said there is no relation between the Ivie's that still live around there.
Any info is appreciated
