Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

My grandfather was the Landers Ivie you mentioned in your message. I live in Texas about 50 miles from where he is buried. I knew My Aunt Emma Russell and her children and also Uncle Walter Scott Ivie. My father was John Richard Ivie the youngest son of Landous S. Ivie. I would like to email more information on the Ivie's if you would be interested. John Russell and his family had lived in my hometown in Texas in the 1950's. I met your parents at that time. Would be interested in emailing you.
