Hi Diane!
I am doing genealogy work and in the process of finding some of my relatives, I have run into some information on James Russell Ivie and his wife, Eliza McKee Faucett. Actually it is a history about James Russell Ivie and is written by a great-granddaughter, Hettie R. Robins. It is really interesting. I have re-typed it for the lady who loaned me her genealogy papers. My family is not in the Ivie line, but I found a lot of info. on the Ivie family.
I wished I had a history like his..on my family. I would be more than happy to share it with you. Also, I am hunting for a William Riley Ivie. I have his information in his early life, when he married a relative of mine. They did divorce, but I am still interested as to what happened to him. I think he moved to New Mexico in about 1900. His father was Joseph Johnson Ivie and mother was Eliza Anna Ivie. Their family came from Scipio, Utah. If you have any info. on him, I would sure be interested in finding out what happened to him. Thanks.....Sincerely,
Vicki Gubler
