Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

We now have DNA results that imply that all Ivey, Ivie, and Ivy's are not related within the last several thousand years. An Ivy and an Ivie have tested as R1a which indicates Norse whereas the rest of those tested indicate E3a which has an African base. Prior to this it was believed that all three of the spellings were related. Travis R Ivy near Waco TX
