Hi Glenda,

I am so sorry it took me so long to respond. I've had a number of health problems and have had two deaths in the family since I received your letter.

My health has improved but my heart is still broken-life goes on, right?

I'm afraid I may have little to offer you as far as information goes but I sure would be greatful for any info you care to toss my way. I am especially interested in the ever elusive family photos of some of these Ivie brothers. I don't suppose there is anyone out there lucky enough to possess a photo...who knows!

Do you have copies of Burrel Ivie's bible pages? If not, I'd be happy to send them to you.

I sure appreciate you writing to me and offering your information. If you have an extended tree you'd like to share (I'd sure love to have it) please feel free to email me at

I live in California about 90 miles from San Francisco in the San Joaquin Valley. Wish I lived close enough to attend one of your reunions. Sounds like fun!

Please write back to me. I'd love to hear from you again...also, please use my email address above so we can cut out the middle man :)

Best wishes to you,

Michelle Sprague
