It looks like my last try got though, so I will try again!
As I said, I do not have too much info on your Alexander, but I believe him to be from my line, and I do have some information on his line, perhaps you already have it, I do not know. Here goes anyhow.
Alexander Ivory was born April 5,1805, I do not know where but will try to get it for you. He is the son of Jacobus Ivory who was a member of the Second NY Regiment during the Revolution. Jacobus fought at the battles of White Plains (NY), Trenton & Monmouth (NJ). I am decended from Alexanders brother James who was the third of seven children. Alexander was the fifth child. Jacobus was married to Sarah Roosa and was the son of Alexander Ivory who I figure was born about 1720. He came to the US from Ireland, but I do not know when. He live in Skippekonk and Walpeck and was married to (2nd marriage) Janneke Decker on Jan 26, 1755. (Minisink Valley Reformed Dutch Church Records, 1716-1830, NY Gen and Bio Society). I know where Jacobus is buried and I am looking for the gravesite of Alexander1. I did not know what happened to Alexander2, but you say he went to Moravia, NY. Perhaps some others are their also.
If you have any additionl information, please contact me.
Dick Ivory,
