I have been reading your posts with great anticipation. I have some information on my Ivory ancestors but can't find Francis Joseph who is mentioned in the Beers Project and it says that he came from Dublin as a jeweler and watchmaker. Says his father is Andrew who was a silk weaver. This is my brick wall and I keep hoping that one day one of my cousins will just happen to see me and be helpful in my quest. Francis Joseph was thought to have arrived here about 1812. Don't have his age upon arrival either. He had 4 daughters and 1 son who is Capt. Andrew Ivory who fought and was wounded in the war. If you or Helen see anything that might help me - Please send a response. I am happy to share what I have.
Best always,
Gayle Ivory Strom
