Hello again Linda.
Thanks for the information. Joseph is clearly my ancestor, but that's the first time I've seen him with a middle name. I looked again on the marriage certificate I have for him and found that Rose Ann's maiden name was Morrow (it's a bit hard to decipher). But I haven't come across the other names. I wonder whether there were a few Thomas Ivory's and that this has confused me. Does the death certificate give Thomas's date and place of birth and age at death? I would be interested to have that information.
But the way, I've done a bit of family history research, but I'm not fanatical. The Ivorys interested me because they are an unknown branch. When I visited the cemetery at Natte Yallock earlier this year, there were lots of Mills graves (Mary Ann Mills married Joseph Ivory) but no Ivorys. Joseph had died (or disappeared) by 1910, and my grandmother (Maud Ivory) and her family were looked after by the Mills. My elderly mother doesn't remember any contact with Ivorys.
It's good to have linked up with you.
