My line is Edna Hubbard Merckle (grandmother), Wiley Bingham Hubbard(Ggrandfather), Roswell Ivory Hubbard (GGgrandfather), Harvey and Harriet Ivory Hubbard (GGGgrandparents).
I don't think women are left out, as they are simply hard to trace because of their name change. What does the C. in Harvey C. Hubbard stand for or do you know. I have never seen it on any of the records I have found. I wouldn't be surprised to find it is Challenge as Harvey's grandfather on his mother's side was Challenge Smith. Of course, Harvey did have a son named Challenge Smith. I think it is a great family name.
Are you aware that Harriet had a Bible and a sampler she made as a young girl? I have seen both and photographed them. The script is beautiful. It has Harvey and Harriet's birth, marriage, death, and the births of all of their children, and some deaths and marriages of them. The sampler is also in good condition. I also have a death certificate for Harriet from Monroe which lists her father as Thomas Ivory.
Do you live far from Monroe County? I am about two hours away.
