John Ivory buried in Kilmuckridge, Ireland. USA connection?
Posted by: Marion Burke (ID *****7369) Date: September 15, 2006 at 14:44:28

Has anyone got any info on this person?

He died in Coolroe, Eire, in 1926, aged 80. A gravestone dedicated to him says: 'late of Rochester, USA'. I think he may be the grandfather of my grandmother, Mary Ivory, who is buried in the same grave. Mary died in 1927, but by this time was called Mary Burke.

I think that Mary had a brother called William who emigrated to either Canada or New Zealand. Any info on him or his decendants or the other Ivorys would be gratefully appreciated.
