I am Anuschka Becker of Dortmund, Germany, and I am interested in my maternal ancestry. The following information are about my mother's paternal grandparents, so please read this.
Who knows a Viktoria Jablonski (* December 12th 1881 in Poznan or Pila, Poland, † 1958 in Dortmund, Germany)? In 1906 she married a Josef (Joseph) Jedraszczak (* January 8th 1882 in Poland, † 1962 in Dortmund) in Dortmund. They got more than 5 children (I heard of 5, but there must have been more): Hedwig, Leopold (Leo), Franz (my maternal grandfather), Wilhelm (Willi) and his twinsister, but she died in early childhood. Hedwig died of appendicitis, also in her childhood. Leopold was killed in action on February 7th 1945. Franz (* September 9th 1913 in Dortmund, † October 22nd 1985 in Dortmund) married Klara Auguste Flore (* February 12th 1916 in Dortmund, † March 20th 1985 in Dortmund) on August 12th 1938 in Dortmund. They got three children: Gudrun (my mother), Siegfried and Franz-Joseph (stillborn). Wilhelm married Hilde Breuer on November 7th 1940.
My mother told me, that my great-grandparents were in contact with their relatives, who still were in Poland, during their whole lifetime.
