My ancestor Georg Jakob Jack was born in Conweiler, (now Straubenhardt) Wurttemburg, Germany about 1770. Some family members used the name Jack and some used Jackel, I do not know why. About 10 Jack family members came to Morgan county Illinois in 1843. They changed the spelling to Yeck. I am trying to find family members in either the US or Germany.
