Hello-
I am not certain of the exact location of my Joeckle/Jackel/Jaekel ancestors, but I do know that it was in Wisconsin where the name changed to Yakel. I am only 18, and I don't know a WHOLE lot, but I can talk to my great-aunt, who has geneology written up practically to the times of Adam and Eve. I would be glad to check on that.
