The only clue as to where the family is from comes from the 1880 Federal Census here in New York. It listed Wuerrtemburg as the location, which was a part of Prussia. Other than that, I am still looking for the town of origin. The family left from Antwerp, Belgium, and the whole family (father John, mother Barbara, and their children Francis, Stephen, John, Nicholas, Peter, Leonard, Frederick, Lydia and Margret) came to NY and settled here. I am hoping to find siblings of the father John and his parents.
