You mentioned you are dsecended from a Samuel Jackett, this would not be, by any chance the Samuel who was baptised at St Minver in 1827, son of William Jackett & Mary.
I am trying to help a friend of mine Russell Webb, whose grandmother was Georgina Jackett dr of Samuel Jackett & Louisa.
The father William was bapt at St Minver 2/6/1793 son of John J & Elizabeth Couch who married there on 1/2/1778.
John was bapt at Egloshayle 16/11/1755 son of Richard Jackett & Grace Bray who married there in July 1755.
