I am a descendent of Peter Jackett and wife Jane Metherell who raised a family in Launceston, Cornwall. Their son Philip Jackett as well as several brothers immigrated to Ontario, Canada and then my Philip dropped down into Buffalo, NY, where he raised his family. Philip was my Gr. Grandfather.
John Jackett of Cornwall gave me the information on my family, he is doing a one name study and I know that his Jackett line is from St. Minver. Do the two lines meet on your charts?
