My ggggrandfather Richard M. Jackett, born 1818, came from Cornwall, England in 1870 and was in the Chicago area for a while before coming to Tipton County,Tennessee. He was in Tennessee by 1876. Thomas, one of his sons, stayed in Chicago and then went to Michigan, according to family history.
