My name is Michael Dano Jackley. My father Francis Dano Jackley was born in 1900 in Frankton Indiana the son of Frank Jackley. My dad had a brother Arthur (no children) and a sister Martha (one daughter Karen whom I cannot find). Frank had a few brothers and sisters but I cannot remember all the names. I know there was Waldo(a professional baseball catcher who is in the minor league hall of fame), Dano m (a federal agent who was killed during prohibition in Washingto DC, I believe Archer and a couple of others. Frank's I believe father was wounded in the civil war and lost his hearing. I also believe he rode as a body guard when Lincoln's body was taken by train from DC to Illinois. This set of Jackleys were artisians(mostly glass blowers and lived in Ohio for quite awhile-somewhere I have pictures of some of them blowing glass). I believe they are all part of two brothers called Jackel (maybe Jackle but I dont think so) who came to the US from Germany
