I am the grandaughter-n-law of the late Julie Jackle and Ferdinand Haiber, Both came here from Germany in there early 20's, from the stories I was told Julie was raised in the Black Forest. Julie had a brother Hans who I was told Painted pictures for the guards in a prison camp during world war II for extra clothes and food. I have a pic that he painted and is signed H.Jackle 1937. The pic is of a house in the black forest. Does anyone have any info for me? Julie passed away March 2004 @ 98 yrs. young. Ferdinand passed away in or about 1985?
