Hello Cousin :-) My family is also decended from this Jacklin family. Regarding Sarah Jacklin: she was christened 5 Oct 1783 at St. Maurice, Horkstow (I think they ALL were). She married John Coupland 18 May 1813, also at St. Maurice. I went as far as finding three children: Mary, c1813; John, c1817; and Elizabeth c1819. I left it at that since this isn't a direct lineage for my family. Sarah's father was John (Jacklyn) Jacklin, and the current working theory that several genealogist have is that he was christened 23 Sept 1747 at Thornton Curtis. He died/was buried 7 Feb 1836 at the age of 88, buried at St. Maurice. John married Ann Torr, born 1749, 21 May 1776 at Frodingham. Ann was the daughter of Samuel Tyre and Mary Ward. She died/was buried 30 Dec 1836, and is also buried at St. Maurice. John and Ann had 11 children. My line follows the Thomas Jacklin line, christened 22 Sept 1790. Now, I know that a different poster has a different parentage than I do for John Jacklyn, but I can't tell you for sure who's right. I have John as the son of John Jackline and Ellen Fox, who were married 4 May 1744 at Goxhill. I have two other sons for them: Thomas, christened 3 Oct 1751, and Francis, christened 15 April 1759, all christened at Thornton Curtis. Interestingly, my family also goes back to Stephenson...
