Can anyone help with information of Jacklin family in UK. I believe they came from Bourn, Cambridgeshire. Joseph Jacklin(1814-1896) and his wife Jane (nee Chew) (1820-1903)emigrated to South Australia in 1854 with son William (1844-1925). I am able to trace the family in Australia, but would like correct information on them in UK.
I believe Joseph's parents were Thomas and Sarah (nee Lester) and Thomas's parents were James and Elizabeth (nee White/Wite/Weite). James's parents were John and Ann (nee Barnard) and John's were Thomas and Margaret (nee Pigot).
I would like to know if this UK information is correct.
My Grandmother was a Jackling, adding the 'g'when they came to South Australia. Thank you to anyone who can help.
