Hi Rabecca,

My name is Eva Jackman, Newbury, ma. We come from James (b.1611) Jackmans son Richard. We still own a 43 acre parcel of land in Old Town that James (b.1611) got in 1651. I have been researching the proprietors records from 1700's. The second Common (becoming General) Old Town Pasture is were James and his sons claimed land along with Joseph Plumer. Unfortunetly this book does not list Samuel. However I am a docent at the Cushing House Musem/Historical society of old newbury. Tomorrow I will look in the Mary Adams Rolfe papers (they have a Jackman book) and see if he is listed.

Hope I can help..........Eva
