Benjamin Jackman, Essex County, MA

On familysearch – IGI there are 4 references to Benjamin Jackman and Dorothy Lunt married 9 Aug 1744 of which one names Timothy Jackman and Hannah Chute as Benjamin’s parents. On familysearch – IGI there are 4 references to Benjamin Jackman and Elizabeth Noyes married 20 Nov 1745 of which one names Timothy Jackman and Hannah Chute as Benjamin’s parents. This implies that Benjamin, born 1724 Sep 19, married Dorothy then Elizabeth. Rootsweb postings show the same. Vital records of Essex indicate something different.

I would like to discuss this with other descendants of James Jackman, one of the founders of Newbury. How many married Benjamins were in Essex during this time period (1737 to 1764) and how are they connected to James?
The vitals indicate that #14 was incorrectly recorded. 1 & 2 and 5 & 6 look suspiciously similar although ten years apart.
My thanks to those who transcribed these records to the internet.
