Jesse Jackson of NJ

I am trying to determine the ancestry of Jesse Jackson of NJ whose family group is as follows:

Jesse Jackson
Born: Bet. 1790-1810 in NJ
Died: Bef. 12 Aug 1846 in NJ
Father: Poss. John A Jackson of Elizabeth Town, NJ
Mother: UNKNOWN
Wife: Poss. maiden name of Turner
Born: Bet. 1800-1810 in NJ
Died: Bet. 1840-1850 in NJ

CHILDREN
Daughter: Isabella Jackson
Born: Jan 1825 in New Jersey
Died: Aft. 1900
Married: Joseph Dunham, 12 Aug 1846 in First Presbyterian Church, Rahway, Essex, New Jersey

Son: John T Jackson
Born: Abt. 1826 in NJ
Died: Bet. 12 Jul 1890 - 07 May 1894
Married: Rachel Ann UNKNOWN

Son: Andrew Jackson
Born: Bet. Jun - Aug 1830 in New Jersey
Died: Aft. 1880
Married: Jemima UNKNOWN

Daughter: Abigail Jackson
Born: Nov 1831 in New Jersey
Died: Aft. 1910
Married: James Morris, 04 Jan 1852 in Woodbridge, Middlesex County, New Jersey

Son: Moses T Jackson
Born: Apr 1837 in New Jersey
Died: Aft. 1900
Married: Emma UNKNOWN

The 1850 US Census of Woodbridge, NJ, has all the children living with or near Joseph and Isabella (Jackson) Dunham with no record of the parents. An 1850 map of Middlesex County property owners marks their residence on Turnpike Road about 1 to 1.5 miles southwest of the town of Woodbridge.

Joseph and Isabella's marriage record at the Rahway Presbyterian church sets her father's name as Jesse and the fact that he died prior to their 1846 wedding.

The 1840 US Census of Elizabeth Town, NJ, lists a J.A. Jackson and a female (wife?), both age 20-30, and others all the right ages to be Jesse's children. I currently assume this is Jesse and his family group because I find no other Jackson household in 1840 NJ with children of these ages. However, I have no independent certainty of Jesse's birth date. I can not be sure J.A. is Jesse or possibly a sibling (and wife?) if, say, Jesse (and his wife?) died before 1840 and took the children in.

In 1830 there is a household of 14 in Elizabeth Town, NJ, headed by a John A. Jackson, age 50-60, and female (wife?), age 40-50. The large household lists members aged appropriately to possibly include a young Jesse, his young wife, and first three children. With seven more in the household of the ages listed, it could also include yet another such young family and more.

Also in 1830, there is a household in Perth Amboy, NJ, headed by a Jesse Jackson, age 20-40, and female (wife?), age 20-30, others aged appropriately for Jesse's first three children.

So I am currently searching for any insight into Jesse's birth date; his wife's birth date and/or maiden name; or Jesse's father's name and parentage. Is it John A. Jackson of Elizabeth Town, born between 1770-80?

Furthermore, is there a connection to the James and Mary (Thorne) Jackson family that migrated from Long Island, NY, to Woodbridge, NJ, and had children Sarah (b.1740), John (b.1742), Benjamin (b.1744), Charles (b.1745), and Margaret (b.1745), according to the Plainfield Friends (Quaker) records?

I would be interested in hearing from anyone connected to this family group or that can offer any insight. Thank you.
