Need to ck GEN Forum-- McDowell section-- has this on May 17,2007--
am looking for info on hester mcdowell and john seabourn. Hester Mcdowell was born in 1807 in Haywood co, NC. and john was born in 1800 in Jefferson Co, TN. I have that they were married 1822/1823 in Mcminn Co. TN. I am wondering if Hester Mcdowell is related to Uchted Mcdowell and Isobell Gordon, Or Robert Mcdowell and Ann Hemphill. Hester and john Seabourn had 11 children Francis Marion, Andrew Jackson, George Washington, Nancy ann, Eliza jane, Napoleon Bonaparte, Elizabeth mary, Matilda c, Martha Adeline, Malinda a,and Salina Texas Seabourn. If any could please give me any info. On both Hester Mcdowell and John Seabourn. Thank you
